东方山羊豆又叫作山羊豆、小芸香、山羊芸香、林地甘草等,属于豆科,是一种有发展前途的饲料作物。该属共有8个种,在苏联自然条件下常见有两种——即东方山羊豆和药用山羊豆。由于该作物以高额产量而著称,因而在饲料耕作中具有很高的价值。例如在非黑钙土地带,每公顷鲜草产量为300～750公担,其中粗蛋白含量为25～27%。植株高度为80～150厘米。
Oriental goat beans, also known as goat beans, Ruta incense, Rutaceae goat, woodland licorice, etc., are legumes, is a promising feed crop. The genus is a total of eight species, common in the Soviet Union, there are two natural conditions - the Oriental goat beans and medicinal goat beans. Known for its high yield, the crop is of high value in feed farming. For example, in non-Chernozem soil, the yield of fresh grass per hectare is 300-750 kgs, of which the crude protein content is 25-27%. Plant height of 80 to 150 cm.
