新修订版义务教育数学教材(新教材)进一步加强在各个内容领域中对解决问题能力的培养,将培养学生“四能”的教学与各部分数学知识的教学有机的结合在一起。在培养“分析问题的能力”和“解决问题的能力”的同时,增强了“发现问题的能力”和“提出问题的能力”的培养。新教材循序渐进地提供解决问题的一般步骤,教给学生解决问题的基本方法。教材从一年级上册开始逐步的让学生学习并体会到要解决一个数学问题所要经历的步骤。即:理解现实的问题情境,发现要解决的数学问题(教材一般用“知道了什么?”提示)——分析问题从而找到解决的方案并解决之(教材一般用“怎么解答?”提示)——对解答的结果和解决的
