本文从认知语言学的角度,运用原型范畴、转喻及压制理论,研究英语双及物构式的多义现象及其产生的认知理据。指出当动词的词汇义和双及物的构式义发生冲突时,会出现语义相互压制。当动词的词汇义成功地压制构式义时,会产生双及物构式的多义现象并具有家族相似性。
From the perspective of cognitive linguistics, this paper uses the theory of archetype, metonymy and repression to study the polysemy of English doublets and their constructions and their cognitive motivations. It is pointed out that when the verbal meaning of the verb and the constructive meaning of the double and the object conflict, the semantic mutual repression occurs. When the verbal meaning of a verb succeeds in repressing the constructivism, it produces polygamy of duality and object construction and has familial similarity.
