在室内条件下,利用昆虫病原线虫中的四个品系对我国北方主要蛴螬敏感性进行测定表明:Steinernema glaser NC34对暗黑金龟子Holotrichia morosa(Waterh)幼虫具有较高致病力,2000~4000条/头致病率达到90.0~93.3%,Steinernemasp.NC513致病力稍差,S.feltiae Agriotos及S.bibionis Otis更差.大黑金龟子对上述四个线虫品系均不敏感.研究表明,线虫在土壤中可以自由移动寻找寄主,与寄主接触48小时后即可使寄主发病.线虫在体内发育繁殖,使寄主体内物质消耗殆尽,表皮破裂后线虫进入土壤寻找新的寄主,6天之内即可在新寄主上寄生增殖,形成新的传染病原.
