英语专业技能课指听、说、读、写、译等英语技能的综合训练课程和单项技能训练课程,在英语专业教学中的作用至关重要。TESOL教学模式强调各种教学活动应以学生为中心,学生在收集资料、分析资料、课堂讨论和小组汇报中互相帮助、互相启发,从而寻求解决问题的方法,达到教师预期的教学目的。实践证明,TESOL模式非常适合英语专业技能课的教学。本文从教师的角色定位、课堂互动模式和考核方式等几方面进行分析,论证TESOL教学法在技能课教学中的可行性。
English specialized skills refers to the English skills training, listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation and individual skills training courses in the teaching of English major is essential. TESOL teaching mode emphasizes that all kinds of teaching activities should be student-centered, and students should help each other in collecting information, analyzing data, class discussions and group reports and inspiring each other so as to seek solutions to problems and achieve the intended teaching purpose of teachers. Practice has proved that, TESOL model is very suitable for English professional skills teaching. This article analyzes the teacher’s role orientation, the interactive mode of the classroom and the assessment methods to demonstrate the feasibility of teaching TESOL in the teaching of skills.
