傅雷是我国著名的翻译家,艺术鉴赏家,文艺评论家,一生译著等身,并留下大量精彩的艺术批评。傅雷的译名之盛多少遮蔽了早年留法所学习从事的专业。当年傅雷考入巴黎大学文科,专攻文艺理论,主要是读艺术欣赏与剖析(包括文学、绘画、音乐等各方面)。在学习中,全面接触了法国当时最新的文艺思潮,后来写下了《现代法国文艺思潮》(1931).《研究文学史的新趋向》(1932).《世界艺坛情报》(1932)等多篇论文,较早将“立体主义”、“现代文学”(即“现代主义文学”)、“文学史研究”、“比较文学”及其“影响研究”、“俄国形式主义”等新鲜话题介绍进来,及时传递了世界艺坛的新讯息。
