花旗松素最早由美国学者Kurth,Ervin F从松科植物花旗松(拉丁名Pseutdotsugamenzicsii)的树皮中提取出来。在近几年的研究中发现:花旗松素对淋巴细胞的影响Devi MA等人研究了11种植物属天然活性物质对于普通淋巴细胞和两类由人淋巴组织分化而来的细胞系[人急性淋巴白血病细胞系(Molt-4)和人成淋巴细胞系(IM-9)]细胞的生长影响,发现当这些物质的浓度在10-50μM范围时,包括二氢槲皮素在内的多酚类化合物对Molt-4细胞和普通淋巴细胞的增殖
