1从前,在英国有一个叫巴伯的理发师,他有一对双胞胎儿子,聪明又淘气,前来理发的顾客都叫他们大巴伯和小巴伯。大巴伯和小巴伯没有妈妈,老巴伯没有妻子。没有人知道大小巴伯的妈妈去了哪里。老巴伯的嘴巴很紧,对妻子的缺席总是讳莫如深。大小巴伯长到1 2岁了。生日那天老巴伯给他们搞了个仪式——所谓的仪式就是一桌子好菜、蛋糕、蜡烛和许愿等。许愿的时候兄弟俩都很严肃,他们对着燃烧的蜡烛喃喃自语了好久。
