一、概述模具热处理的目的是强化基体,获得高硬度、高耐磨性、高强度和足够的冲击韧性,从而提高其使用寿命。选用合适的模具材料和制定合理的热处理工艺规范均是保证其使用寿命的基本因素。由于模具的几何形状不规则,在加热和冷却过程中两种应力(热应力和组织应力)的叠加,使模具产生了形状和尺寸的变化(扭曲和体积变形),这称为热处理变形,它被列为热处理质量方面的关键问题之一。模具热处理的工艺特点是寻找最小变形量的规范。在近几年来,我们普遍采用了分级、分级—等温、等温淬火和选用较缓和的冷却介质的淬火工艺。
