The Chinese govement issued a series of new M&A and takeover rules in July and August 2006 to further regulate and facilitate foreign investors acquisition activities in China.The new rules are aimed at offering more flexibility, reducing costs and increasing takeover efficiencies for foreign-funded M&As in the worlds fastest-growing major economy.
