苕于是陕南稻麦产区的重要绿肥,产量高,肥分好,增产效果大.每千斤鲜草含有6斤纯氮,以亩产5000斤鲜草计,所含氮素,约相当于150斤硫铵.每千斤毛苕鲜草增产稻谷50～100斤,在低产田里使用,增产更显著.不仅当季作物增产,后1～2熟作物还有肥效.群众说:“一年苕子好,三年地脚好”.陕南大部份地区产量相差悬殊,高产田亩产6～7千斤,低产田只有千斤左右.为了了解其原因,我们多次访问调查,不少社队所以年年高产,他们的主要技术是:
