交通信息化是在国民经济和社会信息化大背景下的行业信息化,它的内涵主要包括以下五个领域:一是交通政务信息化;二是交通基础设施建设与管理信息化;三是交通运输生产管理信息化;四是交通产品营销信息化;五是交通科学技术信息化。交通信息化的目的是通过广泛应用现代信息技术,实现交通产业升级,使社会公众享有更多的信息资源,提高科研、生产和管理的效率和能力,加快推进交通现代化。
Traffic informationization is the industry informationization under the background of national economy and social informationization.
