文章根据调查研究结果,报导了粤西垦区胶树的镁素营养状况及其因土壤、品系和树龄而引起的差异,北部各植胶场胶园缺镁病的调查结果和胶树缺镁的内外部症状。并根据多次多年的试验结果,报导了镁肥对胶树生长、产胶、胶乳质量、树皮、乳管列和内部营养状况的影响,及粤西垦区镁肥资源的调查试验结果。最后就橡胶树的镁诊断指标、粤西垦区胶树营养中的钾镁平衡和镁肥品种选择等问题进行讨论。
