西德汉堡《海登莱契与哈贝克》(Heidenreich & Harbeck)工厂自行设计制造了两台可调式组合机床,用来完成各种标准车床的床头箱体、齿轮箱体和溜板箱体以及两种六角车床的床头箱体上的极大部分镗孔、钻孔、铰孔和攻丝等工序。其中一台为双面组合机床,只用于钻镗床头箱体各孔,另一台为三面组合机床,用于加工三种齿轮箱体和溜板箱体各孔和两种床头箱体的镗孔。据称,这两台组合机床可以代替加上工艺装备的29台万能机床使用。
