Bitter patterning was used to observe the domain structure of the newly known ferromagnetic ζ phase (named after K (?) Ster and Wachtel) in the Mn-Al alloy system. The sample is polycrystalline. Pink lines are almost parallel lines or ripples or other more complex patterns. Did not see the lace pattern.
