湖州市地处太湖南岸,气候温和湿润,年无霜期233~246天≥10℃活动积温5000℃左右,热量条件属三熟不足、二熟有余地区.过去冬作以大麦为主,近年来小麦播种面积逐年扩大.由于晚稻的收获期正是小麦的最佳播种期,使本来就非常紧张的季节矛盾更加突出.如遇不良天气条件的影响,往往造成小麦迟播,导致冬发苗不足,成穗率低下,不能稳产高产.晚稻行间套播冬小麦(简称套播麦,下同)的栽培技术,既能确保晚稻养老稻夺高产,解决发展迟熟高产晚粳稻的后顾之忧,又能使小麦适期早播夺高产,达到稻麦双丰收的目的.1998年全区推广套播麦8547亩,在大灾之年常规稻板麦严重减产的情况下,套插麦仍取得了平均亩产211.68kg的较好收成,比对照每亩增收15.68kg,增产8.2%,深受农户青睐.现将该栽培技术简介如下.
