郭兴文,号补拙园主,1952年生于辽宁盘锦,当过知青,从过军。历任市委组织部常务副部长,县委书记,市委宣传部部长,市委副书记,省委宣传部副部长,省新闻出版局局长、党组书记,省文化厅厅长、党组书记,省文联主席,省人大常委、环资委副主任等职。现为辽宁省文联名誉主席,辽宁省作家协会副主席,中国书法家协会会员。成长于书香门第之家,幼时受父亲的熏陶和影响,喜读文史,尤喜诗词。参加工作后,坚持习书作诗。工作之余,读帖研字,几十年临池不辍。
