陆地卫星已在轨道上运行了将近八年,并已证明它的地球遥感系统是非常有效的。美国航宇局确定陆地卫星-D是陆地卫星三号的后续型号,它的主要遥感仪器将是主题测绘仪(TM)。由于主题测绘仪技术复杂、成本昂贵,曾建议用多谱段线型列阵作为它的替代仪器。表一、表二是两者的参数和成本比较表,不难看出,多谱段线型列阵技术比主题测绘仪更为便宜有效。
Terrestrial satellites have been in orbit for nearly eight years and have proved their Earth-sensing system to be very effective. NASA confirms that Landsat-D is the successor model to Landsat III and that its main remote sensing instrument will be the Thematic Mapping Instrument (TM). Due to the technical complexity and cost of the subject plotter, multi-spectral line arrays have been proposed as alternative instruments. Table I, Table II is a comparison of the two parameters and costs, it is easy to see that the multi-spectral linear array technology is cheaper and more effective than the theme of mapping.
