目的 :探讨姜黄素 (Curcumin ,Cur)清除羟自由基及防御脂质过氧化的能力。方法 :利用Fenton反应生成羟自由基 (OH) ,由AAPH诱发红细胞氧化性溶血。结果 :姜黄素对羟自由基有较强的清除作用 (SC50 为 58.8μmol/L) ,其作用超过OH的特异性清除剂甘露醇 (SC50 为 2 1 .3μmol/L) ;姜黄素 ( 1 2 0 μmol/L)能有效地抑制由AAPH诱发的红细胞氧化性溶血 (抑制 2h以上 ) ,显示了较强的防御脂质过氧化的能力。结论 :姜黄素对癌症及炎症等的治疗作用可能与其清除自由基及防御脂质过氧化的能力有关
Objective: To investigate the ability of curcumin (Cur) to scavenge hydroxyl radicals and protect against lipid peroxidation. Method: Fenton reaction generates hydroxyl radical (OH), which is induced by red blood cell oxidative hemolysis by AAPH. RESULTS: Curcumin had a strong scavenging effect on hydroxyl radicals (SC50 58.8 μmol/L). Its effect was more than OH specific scavenger mannitol (SC50 was 2 1.3 μmol/L); curcumin (1 2 0 μmol/L) can effectively inhibit the oxidative hemolysis of red blood cells induced by AAPH (inhibition for more than 2 hours), showing a strong defense against lipid peroxidation. Conclusion : The curative effects of curcumin on cancer and inflammation may be related to its ability to scavenge free radicals and protect against lipid peroxidation
