索绪尔的现代语言学理论,对于后来的语言学研究产生了深远的影响。上世纪八十年代才兴起的认知语言学也可以找到其思想的影子。本文从较少学者关注的索绪尔的音义二重性和Langacker的音义二极性比较出发,认为两者在语音和语义方面主要存在三点不同,即:认知语法认为不能仅从内部研究语音语义,将其当作一种心理现象;认知语法将语音语义的研究扩展到词汇以外的层面;两者对象征联系的解释不同,后者继承了前者的思想并有所发展。
Saussure’s modern linguistic theory has had a profound impact on later linguistic studies. Cognitive linguistics, which emerged in the 1980s, can also find the shadow of its thinking. This paper starts from the comparison of Saussure’s semantic duality and Langacker’s semantic bipolarity, which is less concerned by scholars. The author thinks that there are three main differences in phonetic and semantic aspects between the two: the cognitive grammar that can not only study phonetic semantics , Which is treated as a psychological phenomenon; Cognitive Grammar extends the study of phonetic semantics beyond the lexicon; the interpretation of the connection between the two is different, and the latter inherits the former’s thought and develops.
