1986年2月9日、3月1日、8月16日在黑龙江省德都县龙镇附近相继发生5.0级、5.4级、4.8级和5.5级四次中强地震.对于这几次中强地震我们是有不同程度的预报意见的我省从1973年地震台网投入观测以来,共记到省内发生的Ms(?)5.0级地震五次(不包括深震)除1986年龙镇附近发生的四次中强地震外,还有当时属于我省的新巴尔虎右旗的5.1级地震1984年以前,我省小震活动主要分布在我省西部的嫩江断裂附近和东部依舒带北端的萝北地区西部地区小震频度和强度都高于东部(见表1)
