桥式起重机主梁主要以箱形为主。过去采用埋弧自动焊,劳动强度高,除锈工作量大,而且对气孔敏感性很强,易焊偏;自从采用多头CO_2气保焊以来,不但焊前不用除锈、焊后不用打渣,而且可减少翻个时间,生产率提高约2倍。采用固定式CO_2气保焊机头,可将焊丝自动对准焊缝,焊接时工件移动,机头固定。固定式机头的构造原理,和一般半自动CO_2气保焊手把相同,有CO_2气体和水循环冷却系统。导电咀的位置最好和喷咀平行,或短0.5~1毫米,如果过长,易与主梁相碰造成短路,损坏导电咀。图1为机头简图。
