英语短语动词是构成英语词汇的非常重要组成部分,也是学生学好英语的重要方面。然而,英语短语动词的语义多样,晦涩难懂,增加了学生的记忆负担,不利于词汇量不足的中国高中生学习和熟练使用。本文从认知语言学概念隐喻理论的角度出发,研究分析了概念隐喻理论对英语短语动词语义理解的影响,并试图提出了相应的教学方式和教学建议,以提高中国高中生英语的综合运用能力。
English phrasal verbs form a very important part of English vocabulary, but also an important aspect of learning English well. However, the semantics of English phrasal verbs are diverse and obscure, which increases the memory burden of students and is not conducive to the learning and proficiency of Chinese high school students who lack vocabulary. Based on the theory of conceptual metaphor of cognitive linguistics, this paper analyzes and analyzes the influence of conceptual metaphor theory on semantic understanding of English phrasal verbs, and attempts to put forward corresponding teaching methods and teaching suggestions to improve the ability of Chinese senior high school students to use English comprehensively .
