针对在铸造生产上出现的干燥石灰石原砂和水玻璃混制后的型砂,在用CO2气体进行硬化时,出现难以硬化、硬化强度不高的问题,从水玻璃CO2硬化的机理进行分析,找出水玻璃砂不能硬化的原因,提出加适量水可解决水玻璃砂吹CO2硬化强度低的理论依据。并在生产中实践,证明了理论的正确性,从而解决了干燥石灰石原砂和水玻璃混制所得的型砂用CO2气体进行硬化时的硬化强度低问题。
