2016年7月8日,新乡市普降大雨,降雨一直持续到9日20时,全市平均降水量达到145.10 mm,本次降雨在给新乡市造成洪灾威胁的同时,对地下水形成了很大的补给,平均地下水埋深回升了1.02 m,尤其是新乡市市区,地下水平均埋深回升了2.27m,而其它年份同期平均地下水埋深回升的远小于此。经分析计算得出,本次暴雨总降雨水量为10.44亿m3,地下水蓄变量为2.93亿m3,地下水补给系数为0.28。
