The trial modeled fasting compensatory hyperinsulinemia during insulin resistance and investigating the effects of moderate hyperinsulinemia on endothelial-dependent vasodilatation of the brachial and femoral arteries. Methods Twenty-five healthy volunteers aged 20-29 years without smoking were enrolled. The research consists of two parts and four experiments. The first part: Insulin and saline control.
