艺术学门类的建立,明确了艺术文化在中国文化建构中的重要地位,标志着艺术学学科发展的新的阶段,体现出艺术与人类精神创造的普泛性价值、包含于其中的个性创造的独一性意义、及文化价值的社会肯定;在经过密集的研讨与激烈的观点碰撞,艺术学属下的5个一级门类划分最终确定,标志着兼顾传统艺术文化构成与现代艺术种类的认知、理论综合与文化相近这一艺术文化格局的确立;毋庸置疑,艺术门类的建立对于艺术学科发展意义重大,但是各门类之间的差异性、艺术学理论一级学科的学科范畴、文化认知层面的学科认知等诸多问题都亟待解决,如何按照艺术发展的自身规律进行学科建设,充实艺术文化品质,不断推进艺术学学科建设是当下及将来要思考及解决的问题。
