核炮弹的研制美国目前装备使用的核武器中,最小型的要算火炮发射的核炮弹。最早研制出来的炮弹核弹头是供陆军用280毫米加衣炮使用的Mk9型。这种核弹头从1950年开始研制,52年研制成功。1953年5月25日,美国第867野战炮兵营首次进行了核炮弹发射试验。这种Mk9型核弹头经改进后投产,生产出来的核弹头就是Mk19型核炮弹弹头。以上两种核弹头都是小型强化式裂变弹头,爆炸力为15千吨。这种280毫米加农炮早在第二次世界大战中就开始研制,它是美国陆军最大的野战火炮,重达约85吨。由于这种火炮过大,故几乎没有装备使用,但据说280毫米核炮弹,直到1963年
The development of nuclear shells The smallest of the nuclear weapons currently used in the United States is the nuclear shells fired by artillery. The earliest developed cannonball nuclear warhead was the Mk9 for the army to use with a 280-mm artillery. The nuclear warhead was developed from 1950 and was successfully developed in 52 years. On May 25, 1953, the U.S. 867 Field Artillery Battalion conducted the first nuclear-bomb-launch test. This Mk9-type nuclear warhead has been put into operation after improvement, and the nuclear warhead it produces is the Mk19-type nuclear cannonball warhead. Both types of nuclear warheads are small-scale enhanced fission warheads with an explosive force of 15 kilotons. Developed as early as World War II, the 280-mm cannon was the largest U.S. Army field-gun, weighing about 85 tons. Since this artillery was too large, it was used with little equipment, but it was said that the 280-mm artillery shell lasted until 1963
