Peach blossom is a typical image with rich connotation in classical Chinese poetry. It has dual cultural connotation pointing to life and woman. To understand the cultural implications of the peach, we can understand more deeply the “peach blossom” of Lin Daiyu by Cao Xueqin and deeply understand the tremendous tragedies in it.
