The third technology project of the U.S. Light Material Manufacturing Innovation Agency will focus on titanium alloys. The project, led by GE Aviation and Ohio State University, will initially focus on advances in computer analysis to better understand and predict the performance of titanium alloys. Boeing and Scientific Forming Technology are also industry partners in the project. EWI, Purdue University, Southwestern Institute of Technology, University of Michigan and North Texas University are the academic collaborators for the project.
