对1998年黄河河口段挖河固堤启动工程基本情况,1998年汛期来水来沙条件及挖沙河段冲淤演变情况进行了分析。在1998年水沙条件下,挖沙河段初期回淤较快,当回淤量占挖沙量的77%时,挖沙河段达到总体输沙平衡。通过实测资料分析、物理模型试验与数学模型计算结果对比可以看出,挖沙以后挖沙河段回淤量较不挖沙时增加,但扣除挖沙量后,挖沙河段较不挖沙时少淤,挖沙减淤比为1∶05左右
