任斌同志:你好! 寄来的电影文学剧本《红叶飘落的时候》读过了。一部作品有较好的思想内容,塑造出几个富有个性的人物,也找到了一些揭尔人物内心世界的好的细节,这当然是不容易的。然而遗憾的是,在读剧本的时侯,在我面前出现的不是新的生活画卷,很多似曾相识的东西不断地袭来,无论故事情节或人物命运,甚至人物的语言,全在预料之中。你可以设身处地地想一想,一部影片看过第一本就知道结尾,听了第一句台诃,就可以推断出第二句,甚至预料到第三句,那是多么索然乏味啊! 所以我想谈一谈电影中的“意想不到”。电影是反映生活的。现实生活中处处充满着矛盾,并由此而产生了冲突和斗争。但是,这种矛盾的斗争为什么不在那里而在这里、为什么不在那时而在这时展开或激化呢?这有着许多偶然性因素的影响。然而这“偶然”又是和“必然”紧紧地联系着的,所以黑格尔说:凡是必然的都是偶然的,凡是偶然的都是必然的。
