近年来,城市发展的速度较快,城市规模的不断扩大,使城市原来的各项基础建设设施越来越无法满足当前城市发展的需求,城市进入了各项基础设施大力建设的时期。城市给水管网是保证城市给水能力的重要保证。但在城市快速发展过程中,原有的给水管网由于年久失修,腐蚀、结垢情况严重,不仅使输水能力有所降低,同时也无法保证水质的质量。所以对原有给水管网进行改造和扩建,降低漏耗及改善水质是当前急需进行的工作。目前在对管网进行改造和扩建时各种施工技术较多,但非开挖技术由于不需要进行沟槽的挖掘工作,对地表破坏较少,受到各方的广泛关注,在给水管网中施工中较为常见。
