英语教师基本素质与能力要求是根据英语教育特点和发展要求提出来的。基础教育阶段英语新课程改革对教师的基本素质与能力提出更高的要求。如何客观评价民族地区英语师范专业学生职前的教育素质和能力,培养适应新时期基础阶段英语教育改革发展的需要,同时为未来英语教师职业化发展提供过程性记录。本研究提出基于PRO-GH的英语教师基本素质与能力测试模型,旨在为今后培养(训)合格的基础阶段英语教师提供一定的借鉴。
English teachers’ basic qualities and ability requirements are put forward according to the characteristics and developmental requirements of English education. The reform of the new English curriculum in basic education puts forward higher requirements on the teachers’ basic qualities and abilities. How to objectively evaluate the pre-service education quality and ability of ESL majors in ethnic minority areas, cultivate the need of adapting to the reform and development of English education in the basic stage in the new era, and provide a process record for the future development of English teachers’ professional development. This study proposes the PRO-GH-based English teachers’ basic quality and ability test model, which is intended to provide some reference for the training of English teachers in the basic stage in the future.
