一金庸曾作姿态竞选特首是众所周知的。早在1973年,刚写完《鹿鼎记》宣布封笔,他即以记者的身份赴台访问了十天,获蒋经国先生的接见,而1981年,金庸又成为邓小平的座上宾。他是邓小平接见的第一位香港人士。那时邓小平告诉他,自己每晚睡前都读他的小说。1985年,61岁的金庸还荣幸地成为中华人民共和国香港特别行政区基本法起草委员会委员。1993年,金庸再赴北京访问,获江泽民主席接见。此前胡耀邦也接见过他。先后被中国三位重要领导人接见,作为港澳华人,也仅金庸一人而已。这又是令他一想起来就开心的事。
It is a well-known fact that a chief executive of Jin Yong’s posturing stance has been known. As early as 1973, just after finishing the publication of “Deer’s Note,” he wrote a ten-day visit to Taiwan as journalist and was interviewed by Mr. Jiang Jingguo. In 1981, Jin Yong became a guest of Deng Xiaoping. He was the first person in Hong Kong to meet with Deng Xiaoping. Deng Xiaoping told him then that he read his novels every night before going to bed. In 1985, Jin Yong, 61, was honored to be a member of the Basic Law Drafting Committee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. In 1993, Jin Yong visited Beijing again and was interviewed by President Jiang Zemin. Prior to Hu Yaobang also met him. He was interviewed by three important leaders of China successively. As a Chinese in Hong Kong and Macao, only one person in Jin Yong was present. Again this is something that makes him think of it happily.
