学者大多将“学衡派”放置在一个与新文学者尖锐对立的层面,笔者细读诗论原典却发现,“学衡派”与新文学者的诗学理念既对立冲突,又相反相成。冲突集中在变革是否须付诸实践尤其是诗的体式是否须变革,但有关中国诗歌面临困境亟需变革和承继中国诗学优良传统等方面,却心存默契甚至相反相成。文学革命乃至中国现代文学的比较健康的发展便与此有关。以胡先骕与胡适为代表,从两种诗学理念之冲突焦点、两种诗学理念之主要区别、两种诗学理念之内在默契三方面可见两者之间的异同,进而可探寻形成他们之间差异及默契的主要原因。

Taking Hu Xiantao and Hu Shi as representatives, we can see the similarities and differences between the two, the main differences between the two kinds of poetic ideas, the inner differences between the two poetic ideas and the inner tacit understanding between the two poetic concepts, The main reason for the differences and tacit understanding.
