为进行大坝安全评估，50a来，大坝安全监测技术有了长足的进展，测量仪器由人工读数的传感器发展到智能型传感器；数据采集由人工读数发展到自动数据采集系统；模型由统计模型发展到结构模型，而且数据处理和管理发展到由计算机专家系统进行。大坝监测技术的发展将进一步促进系统功能和元件质量的提高，降低成本；推动决策支持和技术管理系统的发展。这些将有利于大坝安全监测自动化可靠性的提高，保证大坝安全评估的质量。
In order to carry out dam safety assessment, great progress has been made in dam safety monitoring technology since 50 years.
