目的:探讨Galectin-3和CD44v6蛋白表达与前列腺癌(PCa)临床病理特征和预后的关系。方法:应用免疫组织化学技术检测45例PCa、25例PIN和20例BPH组织中Galectin-3和CD44v6蛋白表达,并结合肿瘤的病理学行为和临床随访资料进行分析。结果:在PCa组织中,Galectin-3和CD44v6阳性表达率分别为(82.2±59.5)%、(75.6±24.0)%,均显著高于PIN和BPH组织(P<0.05)。Galectin-3和CD44v6表达与肿瘤分化程度、周围淋巴结转移、远处转移、预后密切相关(P<0.05)。Galectin-3和CD44v6蛋白表达呈显著正相关(r=0.412,P=0.005)。结论:Galectin-3和CD44v6蛋白表达与PCa发生、转移和患者生存期密切相关,联合检测可以对PCa的发生、发展、预后及药物治疗提供重要依据。
Objective: To investigate the relationship between the expression of Galectin-3 and CD44v6 and the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of prostate cancer (PCa). Methods: The expressions of Galectin-3 and CD44v6 in 45 cases of PCa, 25 cases of PIN and 20 cases of BPH were detected by immunohistochemistry. The expressions of Galectin-3 and CD44v6 were detected by immunohistochemistry. The pathological behavior and clinical follow-up data were analyzed. Results: The positive expression rates of Galectin-3 and CD44v6 in PCa tissues were (82.2 ± 59.5)% and (75.6 ± 24.0)%, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in PIN and BPH tissues (P <0.05). The expression of Galectin-3 and CD44v6 were closely related to the degree of tumor differentiation, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis and prognosis (P <0.05). There was a significant positive correlation between Galectin-3 and CD44v6 protein expression (r = 0.412, P = 0.005). Conclusions: The expressions of Galectin-3 and CD44v6 are closely related to the occurrence and metastasis of PCa and the survival of patients. Combined detection can provide an important basis for the occurrence, development, prognosis and drug treatment of PCa.
