The cardia is the portion between the squamous epithelium of esophageal mucosa and the columnar epithelial junction of the gastric mucosa, 2 cm between the zig-zag line, and the cancer center in this area is cardiac cancer. We used fiberoptic gastroscopy and confirmed pathologically from February 1987 to February 1992.
