“Windy July” is the longest song of the poem in the Book of Songs, and it has been used for more than 2,000 years as an agricultural poetry. Contemporary scholars in the Book of Poetry mostly think this is an anti-exploitation and anti-oppression poem that reflects the painful life of slaves, though they agree that resistance is not so strong. This disagreement on the nature of the poem inevitably affects the interpretation of the specific terms of the poem “July”, especially the interpretation of the sentence “female sorrow, peril and son-in-law” This difference is even more obvious. The poem in the “July” the second chapter of the original text: July stream fire, clothing in September. Spring loaded with Yang, warehouse Weng Ming.
