青年演员对于优秀的传统,应该认真继承,也应该认真地学习流派。但是在继承、赵世璞在《文昭关》中饰伍子胥学习的前提下,又不能学死了,应当根据自己的特定条件作相应的发展变化。我们不赞成“没学会走就练跑”的学习方法,也不提倡亦步亦趋,一成不变。因为任何一个流派,都是在继承前人的基础上发展变化而来的。《伍子胥》本来是一出一般的传统戏,可后来却由杨宝森唱成了“杨派”名剧。杨宝森宗余叔岩,他的“杨派”,就是在“余派”的基础上形成的。《伍子胥》原是余派的戏,其中《鱼肠剑》一折尤其唱得出色、灌了唱片。但全部《伍子胥》,尤其《文昭关》一折,却成了杨宝森的代表作。可见凡有光彩的演出,不仅因为继承
