Objective To understand the levels of Coxsackievirus Group A Type 16 (CVA16) Neutralizing Antibody (NA) in 0-15-year-olds in six counties. Methods Three high incidence HFMD and high incidence HFMD counties in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Jiangsu Province were selected as research sites. One HFMD high incidence area and one HFMD low incidence area were selected in each county. Township, venous blood samples were collected from 0 to 15-year-olds and mothers of newborns at the survey site, and questionnaires were conducted among them (or their parents). Results The positive rate of NAA of CVA16 in each age group <1 year old decreased with the increase of age. The positive rate of NA in each age group of 1 year old increased gradually, and the positive rate of CVA16NA in 6 ~ 10 years old was the highest. The positive rates of CVA_ (16) NA in subjects of different ages and in different counties were all statistically significant, but there was no significant difference in the positive rate of CVA_ (16) NA between men and women. The geometric Mean Titer (CVT) of the CVA (16) NA in the age group of 0-15 years old was 1: 8.44, and the NA GMT of each age <1 year old and 1 year old were <1:10,> 1 year old Group NA’s GMT rose, up to 1:22.97. The NA GMT curve for each age group by county and by gender is similar to the GMT curve for total NA. Conclusions The positive rates of CVA (16) NA and GMT in all the six counties are low, and the risk of HFMD caused by CVA (16) in 0-15-year-old population of these six counties is high.
