不具块根。叶3浅裂至3全裂。花序总状或伞房状，或花单朵顶生。萼片脱落，蓝色或紫色，稀白色，多少展开，稀上萼片船形;距与萼片近等長或比萼片长，稀比萼片短。花瓣与萼片同色，稀淡黄色或黄白色。退化雄蕊瓣片，也与萼片同色，稀淡黄色或黄白色，2浅裂或2半裂，稀不分裂，腹面基部之上被黄色或白色髯毛。心皮3，稀5。种子四面体形，沿纵棱具狭翅或无翅，或狭倒卵球形，具密集横向排列的小鳞片。
约190种，隶属于6亚组，广布于亚洲、欧洲东北部、非洲和北美洲。我国有6亚组约132种，多数种分布于西南部的四川、云南、西藏、青海等省（区），西部、北部和东北部诸省各有4种至1种。

不具块根。叶3浅裂至3全裂。花序总状或伞房状，或花单朵顶生。萼片脱落，蓝色或紫色，稀白色，多少展开，稀上萼片船形;距与萼片近等長或比萼片长，稀比萼片短。花瓣与萼片同色，稀淡黄色或黄白色。退化雄蕊瓣片，也与萼片同色，稀淡黄色或黄白色，2浅裂或2半裂，稀不分裂，腹面基部之上被黄色或白色髯毛。心皮3，稀5。种子四面体形，沿纵棱具狭翅或无翅，或狭倒卵球形，具密集横向排列的小鳞片。
约190种，隶属于6亚组，广布于亚洲、欧洲东北部、非洲和北美洲。我国有6亚组约132种，多数种分布于西南部的四川、云南、西藏、青海等省（区），西部、北部和东北部诸省各有4种至1种。
