AB类是兼顾射频功率放大器线性度和效率的一种偏置类型,偏置电路对AB类功率放大器的性能有很大影响。为达到最优性能,通常偏置电路的参数需要通过多次试验来确定。本文提出了一种基于Volterra级数的优化设计方法,该方法利用Volterra级数和基尔霍夫电流定律(KCL),可以计算出兼顾放大器效率和线性的最佳输入偏置。由此可以在设计过程中快速确定最佳偏置参数,从而简化了设计和调测的过程。流片测试结果验证了这种设计方法的有效性。
Class AB is a biasing type that takes into account the linearity and efficiency of RF power amplifiers. Bias circuits have a large impact on the performance of class AB power amplifiers. In order to achieve optimal performance, the bias circuit parameters usually need to be determined through multiple tests. In this paper, an optimal design method based on Volterra series is proposed, which uses Volterra series and Kirchhoff’s current law (KCL) to calculate the best input bias that takes into account the efficiency and linearity of the amplifier. As a result, the optimum offset parameters can be quickly determined during the design process, simplifying the design and commissioning process. Flowsheet test results verify the effectiveness of this design method.
