当前,世界各国正在兴起一场新的教育改革的浪潮,科学教育的改革是其中心内容之一。各国对科学教育的改革都给予高度重视,并取得了重大的进展,这些进展是革命性的。特别是美国,从80年代中斯开始的计划用半个世纪的时间完成科学教育的系统改革,提出了“每个孩子都是科学家”的口号和目标。这些应该引起我们的高度重视和密切关注。 为此,2000年10月20—22日,教育部小学科学课程标准研制组与中国科协信息中心联合邀请美国科学教育专家唐纳·克里兰女士来华讲学。 唐纳·克里兰女士长期参与美国国家科学资源中心主持的“科学教育系统改革的指导和援助计划”的实施,在美国全国范围内推广按照美国《国家科学教育标准》编写的STC课程。此次来华,唐纳女士不仅作了关于美国科学教育改革的学术讲演,还示范教学《运动与设计》。本刊将从这一期开始,连载记者从此次交流活动中获取的国外科学教育理论与课程设计,本期首先摘要刊载的是《美国国家科学教育标准简介》(《美国国家科学教育标准》一书已由我国科技文献出版社翻译出版。并有中国科学教育研究者撰写的评介等。)
At present, all the countries in the world are embarking on a wave of new education reform. The reform of science education is one of the core contents. All countries attach great importance to the reform of science education and have made significant progress. These developments are revolutionary. In the United States in particular, from the beginning of the 1980s, Sri Lanka started a systematic reform of science education in half a century and put forward the slogan and goal of “every child is a scientist.” These should arouse our attention and close attention.
