毛白杨是我国特有的乡土树种,广泛分布于华北、西北地区。毛白杨和其它杨树一样,易受鳞翅目等多种害虫的危害,严重时可至全军覆灭。为有效地解决这一问题,河北农业大学与中科院微生物所合作,利用国家863科技成果,经过近10年的研究,将部分改造BT Cryl AC基因与慈姑蛋白酶抑制剂基因构建的双抗虫基因表达载体,通过农杆菌介导法转化了毛白杨杂种,经过幼虫饲养试验、PCR(聚合酶链式反应)检测及分子杂交检测,菌木生长发育和形态学观察等,
