Objective: To evaluate the clinical value of apolipoprotein A1, apoB100 and their ratios in predicting the occurrence of acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Methods: A retrospective case-control study was conducted to analyze the odds ratio (OR) of apoA1, apoB100 and apoB100 / apoA1 in patients before and one year before onset of disease and in control group. Results: The ratio of apoB100 to apoB100 / apoA1 in patients with ACS before onset was significantly higher than that in controls (P <0.05), with OR values of 12.73 and 20.34, respectively. There was no significant difference between apoA1 and control group (P> 0.05), OR was 1.84. Conclusion: The ratio of apoB100 to apoB100 / apoA1 is of great importance in predicting the occurrence of ACS.
