我叫刘自勖,1923年出生,是河北省井陉县吴家窑乡石佛村人。我从小就特别向往石家庄,非常喜欢登高山往东看,因为从那个方向可以看到石家庄。那时候,石家庄的主要标志之一是棉纺七厂的烟囱。我6岁时失去了母亲,由祖母照顾我,我在本村上小学。1937年下半年卢沟桥事变的战火烧到了我们村,那年我不到15岁。
My name is Liu Zizhi, born in 1923, is a stone Buddha village of Wujiayao Township, Jingtai County, Hebei Province. I especially yearned for Shijiazhuang, I really like to climb the mountain east, because Shijiazhuang can be seen from that direction. At that time, one of the main signs of Shijiazhuang is the chimney of the cotton spinning factory. When I was 6 years old, I lost my mother and took care of me by my grandmother. I was in primary school in this village. In the second half of 1937, the war on Lugouqiao Incident hit our village, during which time I was under 15 years of age.
