对福建主栽的台湾蕉、美蕉、柴蕉三个品种以及一个当地的野生蕉类型进行了细胞学观察。结果表明:它们的染色体基数都是x=11,野生蕉是二倍体2n=22,台湾蕉、美蕉和柴蕉三个品种都是三倍体,2n=33。 野生蕉的花粉母细胞减数分裂行为正常,花粉发育良好,高度能有。台湾蕉、美蕉和柴蕉的减数分裂行为极不规则,中期Ⅰ有单价体、二价体和三价体后期Ⅰ和后期Ⅱ染色体分离亦不规则,主要表现在两极染色体数不等、染色体落后、多极分离以及小核形成等;通过第二次分裂后,除形成四分孢子外,还有比例不小的异常多分体出现。它们的花粉发育不良,大小极不整齐,不育。
Cytological observations were made on three varieties of Taiwan banana, banana banana and banana banana cultivated in Fujian Province and one wild banana type in the area.
