Many of the coastal deposits are formed by the rapid accumulation of sand, which has a loose structure and is relatively easy to liquefy. This article describes the method for analyzing the risk of liquefaction of this sludge and applies it to Harbour Island. Take the alluvial deposits of San Diego Bay as an example. The nature of the sludge and its liquefaction potential are analyzed and evaluated accordingly. Then these are linked with the results of the analysis revealed by the earthquake. As a result, the liquefaction probability of the site is evaluated.
